The Cirque de Légume is a new piece of theatre about two idiot performers who try to put on a Cirque- du Soleil-type circus show using nothing but a chair and a box of cast off vegetables.
This show is 50 minutes of pure mayhem where two idiots put on what may be the stupidest circus in history!
Created by Jamie Carswell, Nancy Trotter Landry and Pablo Ibarluzea: graduates of the prestigious Jaques Lecoq School in Paris, a school that specialises in clown, boufoon and burlesque physical comedy. (more…)

In the land before time, in the recession before this one, a boy grows up in a crowded family on a crowded housing estate and responds to his environment with agoraphobia and escapism.
As an adult, he becomes part-comedian, part-story-teller and part-lunatic, coating himself in anecdotes, jokes and songs, like a schizophrenic pop/culture machine trying desperately to divert attention from the more painful episodes of his childhood.
In essence, a ‘Stand-up Tragedy’, the‘Spinal Krapp’ monologue, illustrates the light side of dark experience and our inability to hide ourselves with manufactured memory.

This site specific theatre piece will be performed in the Boutique Hotel, Denmark Street. Each room on the 1st floor of the hotel will be used for the performance. The audience will be observers to the people and their stories unfolding within each room, drifting from one room to another.
These rooms hold secrets and stories. People leave and others arrive. Yet residues are left in each visit; messages written on steamed mirrors, discarded contents in the rubbish bin and wrapped in tangled sheets. (more…)

Martha relives loves lost, loves dreamed and loves endured.
