Festivals

The Limerick Co-Ordination Office has awarded the official City Festivals & Events Office contract to Futureama Productions. The primary functions of this office are:

• Organising and developing the Limerick St Patrick’s Festival, which includes the St Patrick’s Day Parade and the International Band Parade/Competition
• Organising and developing Riverfest and devising a strong theme for the festival
• Handling promotion and hospitality for each event
• Securing private sector sponsorship
• Applying for and managing grant funding for festivals from the relevant authorities
• Developing proposals for a new Limerick Festival
• Securing an Event Licence for each project
• Being the first and primary point of contact regarding the festivals
